Just $10 Helps Feed A Family Of Four TODAY In Moore!
Special Message From Mercy Chefs Founder Gary LeBlanc
UPDATE TUESDAY AFTERNOON–We are feeding victims and volunteers in Moore TODAY. Thanks for your help!
TUESDAY MORNING–
I’m sure you have already heard the shocking news coming out of Oklahoma where a massive, two-mile-wide tornado has left a path of devastation that our contacts say is beyond description.
Mayor Glenn Lewis of Moore says much of the entire town has been destroyed. Schools completely leveled. Schoolchildren being dragged from beneath piles of rubble. And more storms may be on the way.
I will be on the ground in Moore, Oklahoma, BY MIDDAY TODAY (Tuesday) with our team of chefs. Our “Mercy One” mobile kitchen is already moving from Texas and will be on location later today.
We will be serving meals as soon as tomorrow, at the latest Wednesday.
+ + Urgent Help Needed In Next 72 Hours
We are bracing for a level of destruction on the ground equal to what we saw in Joplin, Missouri — perhaps even worse.
Simply put, I need your help urgently right now.
This is Mercy Chefs’ third disaster response in the past month. Now, in the next 24 hours, I must purchase the supplies needed to immediately begin providing hot meals in response to what I expect will be our largest relief effort of the entire year.
+ + “Mercy Two” Also Headed To Moore
Due to the magnitude of this crisis, I have already made the decision to mobilize “Mercy Two” as well. Once we have both kitchens up and running, I expect that Mercy Chefs will be serving hundreds if not thousands of meals every day.
This is precisely why Mercy Chefs is here. I simply must respond. But I can only do as much as our faithful partners like you make possible.
For just $50, our team can feed as many as 20 people; $100 will help feed 40 people; $250 will feed 100 people. Perhaps the Lord has blessed you “for such a time as this” and you can make an extraordinary contribution to help meet this extraordinary need. Of course, every gift will help. No gift is too small or too large!
Finally (most importantly) please PRAY for the victims and the emergency response personnel. And pray that our team will be able to respond to this urgent need with the highest possible level of effectiveness.
Gary
